Company officials of tesa tape, inc., an affiliate of tesa SE, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, are pleased to announce that six of its double-sided foam tapes have met specific standards for safety as documented by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., (UL).

The UL Company, a well-known independent body that performs safety tests on countless products, issued a Certificate of Compliance to tesa SE, stating that the following tesa® products meet the UL 746C Standard for safety, identified as the Standard for Polymeric Materials – Use in Electrical Equipment Evaluations – Edition 6:

tesa® 62932 – polyethylene foam tape, 19.7 mils thick

tesa® 62852 – polyethylene foam tape, 20.4 mils thick

tesa® 62934 – polyethylene foam tape, 32 mils thick

tesa® 62854 – polyethylene foam tape, 31.5 mils thick

tesa® 4957 – polyethylene foam tape, 43 mils thick

tesa® 62936 – polyethylene foam tape, 64 mils thick

The Certificate of Compliance was issued on March 18, 2010, and submitted to the tesa headquarters office in Hamburg, Germany.
