tesa 6931 is a data carrier label consisting of several individual layers, which are optionally provided with finger tabs. Its protective lamination protects the data carrier against paint and dirt and is temperature-resistant up to 428ºF.
After painting, a layer is peeled off so that the data carrier becomes perfectly legible again. The text is emission-free engraved in the data carrier by means of a laser beam through the protective layers. The laser beam causes an irreversible color change of the laser-sensitive pigments in the label material.
